A Trader's Diary

  Kuch toh log kahenge Prices of assets are bound to oscillate, people wish to sell at the top and buy at the best bottom, there are times when we as portfolio traders ( who trades on behalf of clients , or advice the clients over buying / selling the assets at specific prices ), when we sell at a price and the price appreciates even further beyond our selling price. This is hard for them to digest that their holding wasn't sold on the highest price, time and again we have to explain them that there are several factors regarding a sell trade such as :- when we bought the asset we had a strategy over price movement, and derived a selling price prior to buying, and once the price arrives we sell it from our long term experience we develop some sensitivity about the formation of candle sticks and we start being suspicious about the either side big movement ( it can be downside as well ) and if we don't sell at some profits , these same clients will come hunting for us demanding ex...

  When all talk sweet with you As we post over social media about various strategies and chart patterns, also at times some predictions, its probable that fellows over social media starts interacting over the time. As I have been through the times when I had no clue about how to form a strategy or no clues regarding how the prices move in the markets, not forgetting my start , the situations which I have faced and the fears for the future professionally, financially and a bit socially too , I always welcome the youth who wishes to interact with me over social media with a view to guide them and help them to learn the markets ( if they wish to ) . As time passes we tend to talk over private messages  / inbox and then as usual I start sharing my chart drawings so as to share my views, and generate an interest with the young fellow over the other side.   A trader's diary Since several days I have been thinking of this idea, an idea to maintain a diary of my own where I ink all the experiences i get to have during my journey as a professional trader and a portfolio manager. I wont be decorating it with any masala stuffs , to make it suspense , thriller or entertainer , this is just to express , and convey what a trader in me feels , thinks , avoids , fears , believes, in all what a trader goes through in two roles in one .. i) professional trader ii ) portfolio manager.  Hopeful and with all positivity .
